Cruising Crew List Index
Based on scripts created by Fred Cox.
Choose your area
Click on your region, or choose it from the list, below.
If you don't want to be restricted to a region, choose "Worldwide"
below, or if you are interested in a special event, choose that link
(you can't get to either of these from the map).
For security and reliability reasons, you can't directly change an
entry once you've created it. If you need to make changes, or if you
want an entry to be deleted, send e-mail to the list maintainer,
Geoff Kuenning.
However, please do not e-mail new notices to me.
Also, if you find a boat or crew via this crew list, I'd like to hear
about it via e-mail so that I have some idea of whether it's worth the
effort I've put into it.
Other crew lists you might wish to visit:
Peter Oberauer has created a very useful
list of
free and transparent crew registers. It is well worth a
visit.
The Float Plan
Home Page, a.k.a. "The Cruiser's Companion". This has
more than just crew listings.
Find A Crew offers
crew and boat listings around the world.
Partners and Crews
offers free crew listings for both boats and aircraft. It also
connects people who want to enter into partner ownership arrangements.
San Francisco Bay Area Racing Crew List
San Diego Crew List
Vancouver Area Racing Council's
home page, with a
link to their racing crew list.
The Yachting Link
Collection has an extensive list of sites that provide crewing
services. Unfortunately for North Americans, it seems to be
behind a slow link, but it's still well worth visiting.
Yachtcrews.com is a
commercial service for matching employers with professional
mariners.
Offshore Passage
Opportunities is a commercial service "dedicated to providing
offshore passage opportunities to the general public."
Northeast Yacht Charters
is a commercial service that offers captained charters as well
as crewing opportunities.
Crewing the Caribbean
is a book about how to find paying jobs as crew.
Holo Holo runs a crew
list for Hawaii. One of their services is a meeting place for
Transpac crews, both for the race itself and for deliveries back to the
mainland after the race is over.
7knots.com is a very nice
crew-finding site. It also has a swap meet for sailors and
other useful information.
DockExchangeUS
isn't for crew-finding, but rather for finding transient
docks.
Crewfile.com
features links to other sites, crew-wanted and crew-available
listings, and much more. The webmaster's title of "Yacht
Crew, Sailing Crew Positions, Yacht Delivery, Cruise Jobs,
Boat Crew Jobs" doesn't really do it justice.
You are visitor number

Please do not e-mail crew requests to me; please
post them instead.
E-mailed notices are a waste of your time and mine.
