I spent hours fooling around with the focus, aperture, shutter speed, and depth of field buttons while on the long drives to camping areas. He showed me how to work the camera, but I wasn't interested in taking pictures. I liked how it worked mechanically.
My interest in taking pictures started in my senior year
of college because of Debbie. We went to high school together
and she had some scrapbooks that brought back good memories.
I was a bit sad that I didn't have any pictures like those
of my own, so I bought a point and shoot camera
and we started to take more pictures. I was a frustrated that
I couldn't control all the aspects of the picture like when
I used my dad's Minolta SLR. So I found
Photo.Net, did some research,
and bought a Canon EOS-5.
